Bob has performed software engineering, computer science research, teaching, and consulting professionally for almost two decades and has a graduate level education in computer science. His primary areas of concentration include distributed architecture and object methodology: analysis, design, and programming; business, teaching, authoring and speaking and has held the title of architect in many firms for over a decade. He has many certifications in Java and similar technologies from Sun, Microsoft, and Bluestone.
Bob is currently Senior SOA Architect on a large-scale high volume next generation global central reservation system. Bob has been performing software architecture and software engineering in large financial services corporations for the past decade primarily in very high volume global transactional and analytical enterprise applications implemented in Java/J2EE/EJB, Web Services and JMS/MOM utilizing and promoting best practices in archtecture, object-oriented analysis and design and process. Earlier work was primarily in the research community on advanced dynamic object-oriented systems software
